Quick Facts

  • Location: Brighton, South coast of England
  • Main areas of Study: Wide Ranging
  • 20% International Students
  • Based in one of best student cities in the UK

Ever since it opened in the 1960's, the University of Sussex has been committed to an international outlook when it comes to its students. It has partnerships with other universities around the world and one in seven of the university's undergraduates spend part of their degree overseas.

One of the university's best features is its location. It is set on a parkland campus that has everything you need for your studies all in close proximity, as well as sports facilities and accommodation. What's more, the campus is set on the edge of a National Park offering some of the most breath-taking scenery in England.

However, the other big benefit is that the campus is just outside the city of Brighton. Known as one of the youngest and coolest cities in Britain, Brighton is the perfect student city. With over 200 bars, a huge music scene and endless top restaurants & cafes, Brighton has everything. There is also the added bonus of having one of the UK's most popular beaches, alongside the famous Brighton Pier.

Plus there are regular direct trains to London that can get you to the Capital in an hour.
