Accounts Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Processing, matching, batching and coding high volumes of supplier invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries
* Producing sales invoices, sending statements and allocating payments
* Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter and resolving customer invoice queries
* Reconciling bank statements, petty cash and company credit cards

Experience & Skills Required:

* Experienced Accounts Assistant ideally from a high volume transactional environment
* Strong IT skills, ideally Sage Line 50 and able to use look-ups and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel
* Have fast and most importantly accurate processing skills
* Able to prioritise a very busy workload
* Be highly numerate
* Able to work as part of a team in a deadline driven environment
