Client Accounts Administrator

The Client Accounts department is responsible for ensuring client money is received, reconciled and withdrawn in an efficient, timely and compliant manner. Client Accounts interacts with a variety of core areas in Hargreaves Lansdown and for the right individual there is the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills from reconciling accounts to producing management information.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

Processing client settlement instructions for certificated and nominee deals
Answering calls / emails / letters quickly, efficiently and to a high standard
Processing of CREST and unit trust settlement
Processing foreign currency settlement and overseas share dealing FX
Monitoring and resolution of overdrawn accounts
Conduct monthly checks on large automated processes, including interest, tax credits, fee sales, management fees and income reinvestment
Ensuring business processes comply with current regulations
Requirements

Essential Skills and Attributes:

A Levels (or equivalent)
Computer literate (Microsoft Office and internal systems)
In-depth knowledge of HL products and services
None required
Excellent communication skills
Excellent telephone manner
Good written and numeracy skills
Ability to prioritise own workload
Good attention to detail
Ability to be professional under pressure
Client satisfaction orientated
Hardworking and dependable
Ability to work individually and within a team

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

Degree level 2.1 or above
Accounting qualifications
Basic knowledge of other financial services
Experience with Microsoft Office and using in-house systems such as Broker Focus and Atlas
Relevant administrative and/or telephone work experience
Problem solving skills
Ability to use initiative
Excellent written and numeracy skills
Excellent attention to detail
