What is the role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Lead to be part of a strategic business transformation programme at . The Finance Lead will work alongside the Project Manager, other departmental subject matter experts, the selected IT systems partner and the implementation partner to plan, configure, test and deploy the finance elements of the chosen system. The role requires interaction with members at all levels of the finance department to understand and challenge their requirements.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have a financial background and significant project management experience. You will need excellent communication skills and be confident interacting with members at all levels of the finance department to understand and challenge their requirements.

The competencies which are required for the Finance Lead role include:

Experience Essential
• At least 2 years project management experience.
• Background in finance.
• Past experience with finance implementation projects.
• Understanding of processes, procedures and roles within a medium sized business finance department.

Experience Desirable
• Understanding of processes, procedures and roles within procurement, payroll, and HR departments.

Qualifications (incl. certifications) Essential
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Qualification in Finance i.e. ACA / ACCA.
