Graduate seeking PGCE experience

Graduate opportunities***

Are you looking for school experience to support your PGCE/PGDE application this year?

One of the requirements to be accepted on a PGCE Teachers course, is to have competed a fixed number of hours in a schooling environment. This experience is crucial, as without it, you cannot fully appreciate the complexities, challenges, or joys of teaching.

Vision for Education are actively seeking candidates to cover lessons in schools across Merseyside and Cheshire, placement that will count towards your Teaching application and in schools that may be able to support you becoming a teacher.

Although you do not experience for these roles as comprehensive training will be provided, a compliance requirement we have is you have at least 5 days experience supporting children or vulnerable adults in a regulated activity - For example, Coaching, Mentoring, Social work, working with the homeless, Teaching assistant, overseas teaching etc. This is not a comprehensive list, so should you have any queries, please speak to a Vision for Education consultant for more support.

Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
