Graduate Trainee (Employee Rewards Team) – St Albans

The Company:

Our client is a highly successful accounting firm, providing a broad range of advisory services. They are currently the leading provider of Tronc solutions in the hospitality industry, allowing customer tips and service charges to be distributed to employees in a tax-efficient manner and their client base is growing fast.

The Role:

They are therefore in a position to scale up their operations and as such are seeking graduates to enter their training programme with a view to progressing through to Team Leader and management positions.

Through their programme, the successful candidate will study for management qualifications accredited by The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), whilst working in their Tronc (Employee Rewards) Team. You will gain knowledge and experience of Tronc Solutions and be working with clients from the outset, whilst embarking on your Level 3 Team Leader qualification. As you become more experienced, you will gain more responsibility for larger client portfolios, progressing through to Supervisor level once Level 3 is reached.

Role Responsibilities:

Complete the Team Leader qualification over the first 14 months.
In addition to your paid study leave you should be prepared to study in your own time to make sure you get the most from your training and achieve success at each milestone.
Work with your Line Manager to identify your development needs and interests and formulate a set of personal objectives and a development plan to help you achieve your goals.
Progression to Operations Manager qualification and ongoing development in the role for a further 22 months if desired.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Hold a 2:1 degree in any subject.
3 A Level passes equivalent or above to 120 UCAS points.
GCSE passes including Grade B / 6 or above in both Maths and English Language.
A natural affinity with numbers; A level Maths an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
Able to work with accuracy and focus, even under pressure.
Self-motivated with an interest in business and hospitality.
Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
