Interim Payroll Manager

Cherry Professional are currently looking for an Interim Payroll Manager (minimum 6 months assignment) on behalf of an exciting and growing company in the Newark area.

As Payroll Manager you will lead a team of 3 people and you will ensure that the payroll of c1500 is prepared and paid on time - this is across multiple payrolls with varying T&Cs.
The role is going to be mainly focused on the day to day supervision of the team but a hands on approach is required from time to time.

Key tasks
Timely and accurate payments to ALL employees, HMRC and other 3rdparties
Maintain, create and improve payroll process/training documentation as required
Reconcile RTI files and submit to HMRC in timely manner
Perform internal audits of various payroll areas and prepare materials for external auditors
Day to day management of the payroll team.
