Paralegal – Fast Track - Liverpool

We are looking to attract a Paralegal to join DWF, an award-winning legal business.

We do Defendant litigated RTA work for various insurer Clients as well as bringing counterclaims. Fast Track can be categorised as the civil track for personal injury claims over £1000.00 and under £(phone number removed) or property damage which is over £(phone number removed). The claims that are received are usually for both special and general damages. We deal with both liability dispute and quantum dispute instructions for both commercial and domestic insurers. We also deal with causation, low value credit hire, infant claims and indemnity issues. We work on a fixed fee for both delegated and non-delegated instructions.

Fast Track is part of the Motor Volume practice area which includes small claims litigation, fraud and low velocity impact, large and catastrophic injury, through to subrogated recovery schemes, criminal prosecutions and police interviews, legal expense insurance schemes, credit hire and inquests.

As a Paralegal, you will progress Motor Insurance Claims (Defendant) cases to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients ensuring high levels of service delivery both internally and externally whilst providing and maintaining management information under the terms of the client service level agreement. The right person must have good attention to detail and the ability to handle a busy caseload. For the more senior Paralegal roles, team-leading experience will be required.
