Payroll Administrator – Full Time, 6 Months Fixed Term Contract
Barnsley
Salary: Dependent upon skills and experience.

We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team to assist with the following changes within the payroll function:

• Moving payroll from HR team to Finance
• The implementation of Frontier for Time & Attendance recording and payroll processing
• The transition of all colleagues from weekly paid to 4 weekly paid.

This is a versatile role in which you will be working as a member of a dedicated team in a fast paced environment. Job duties will include calculating hours for over 500 colleagues, data inputting, dealing with payroll and holiday queries, working out holiday entitlement, statutory payment calculations and other ad hoc duties.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ experience:

• Be very organised and able to manage conflicting work demands
• Be able to meet tight deadlines
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Have strong IT skills across varied applications, particularly excel
• Have a customer service centred approach to your work
• Be discreet and trustworthy
• Be self-motivated and have good prioritisation skills
• Have a flexible attitude to work and to getting the job done
• Previous payroll experience is desirable
• Previous experience on Frontier is desirable but not essential

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. This is a total of 40 hours per week, but some overtime maybe required to meet the business needs.
