Pensions Officer

Pensions Officer - London - up to £35,000

An exciting opportunity to join a multinational professional services firm in London. One of the largest professional services firms in the world and is one of the "Big Four" accounting firms.

We are looking for an experienced Pensions specialist to assist and support the Pensions Management team in ensuring the effective governance and pension arrangements (DB, Occupation and Contract based DC) in both UK and the Republic of Ireland, in particular through the on going monitoring of the service provided by its third party providers who offer pensions, payroll and flexible benefits administration services. Accountability's:

* To ensure that all data exchange arrangements between the business and the various third party service providers are fully operational and meet the needs of both the pension administrators and the business

* To deal (and refer on as necessary) with pension enquiries from all sources, including members, external service providers, and to offer a professional internal consultancy service to Clients and internal colleagues

* To support the management of the monthly payroll process to ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly pension contributions and compliance with auto-enrolment obligations

* To assist the Pensions Management team in the development and on going review of member communications including the various member websites, explanatory booklets, newsletters and the pension sections of the online flexible benefit system

* To undertake specific projects as directed (previous examples have included a review of pre-retirement education and the annuity service provided to retiring members of the DC sections, closure of DB pension scheme)

We are looking for candidates with extensive technical Pensions experience ideally from an in-house background or 3rd party company.
