Primary Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a school in Enfield, North London. Graded as "outstanding" following their most recent Ofsted last year, they are seeking a Year 3 teacher to start after Easter until July, with the possibility of a similar role continuing in September.

Salary will be in line with the MPS, so £28355 - £40035, pro rata, depending on experience.

This school is amazing! Led by a dedicated Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will be joining a committed team who are determined to maintain the very high standards they have now achieved. Two-form entry, you will be working with an experienced parallel class teacher in the year group and you will be planning together each week. Children make rapid progress at this school, with many starting at the school at levels below the national average and this is down to the dedication and determination of the team.

The school is seeking a teacher with experience of teaching in key stage 2 and who has a friendly, forward-thinking approach with a positive team spirit. The school is oversubscribed, and has a reputation for providing outstanding support for staff and students.

The school is a mixed, multicultural, community and students are motivated, with lots of support from home for the school. The class itself has under 30 pupils, who are well behaved and who are motivated to learn. There is a range of abilities in the class and the class has a full time teaching assistant.

For this key stage 2, Year 3 teacher role, the school is seeking a candidate who:

*Has experience teaching upper key stage 2 students.
*Is able to motivate and inspire students.
*Is highly motivated with good initiative, but who can also slot in as part of a team.
*Demonstrates a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
*Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.
*Is willing to contribute to the broader life of the school, such as after school clubs

The core duties of this Year 3 teacher role are:
*You will take responsibility for teaching a Year 3 class
*To inspire and lead a motivated and inquisitive class
*To help the children achieve their full potential
*To encourage independent learning

The school has a very enthusiastic team on board and you will become an integral part of this.
The role will continue until July 2020 at least.
