Project Manager

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Our client is a leading bank in the UK and they now seek a Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The projects will vary in complexity and duration but all will make a direct contribution to the future success and development of the business.

Key responsibilities:

Ensuring the successful delivery of the projects to time, quality and budget
Taking responsibility for all day to day operational aspects of the project from start to finish
Understanding the project goals as set out by the sponsor and deliver a comprehensive project plan which is capable of delivering the anticipated benefits and to identify and secure the resources necessary to deliver the project
Ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and resources are effectively managed, ensuring they are available when needed
Leading communication regarding project status to key stakeholders up to Executive level
Accurately reporting all critical components of the change initiative which includes budget, project plan, scope, team, risks and issues
Liaising with multiple stakeholders across all business, IT and third party up to Executive level to ensure effective and efficient implementation
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of project and or programme management within a complex environment. You must a minimum of 5 years experience of successfully delivering a variety of significant change initiatives within the UK Financial Services industry. We’re looking for a team player who can work well with others and build and maintain relationships and networks in order to deliver project objectives. You will also have strong influencing skills.
