Psychology Graduates

Jade recently graduated from university with an honours in Psychology.

She comes across really well, has some work experience in retail, and volunteered for a mental health charity during her studies.

But with the world going through a serious health crisis, and a complex labour market – it can become quite overwhelming and Jade do not quite know where to start…

“Are you a Psychology Graduate looking for your first career? Looking for part time work (3 days a week)? Then this role might be for you.

We are currently working with an established organisation renowned for helping clients with complex mental health support needs access Employment, Education, and Training services.

Your main goal is to help link service-users to community services which could include debt management services, as well as housing. You will also be delivering employment workshops, creating action plans, setting goals, signposting service-users and conducting partnership work with other agencies.

Please note: The salary for this role is £12,780 (3 days a week, 22.5 hours)

To apply for this role, you must have experience of working with people with mental health support needs. People who have previously worked as a Support Worker, Key Worker, Project Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Employment Advisor, Supported Housing Officer, would be a good match.

This is also a good opportunity for Psychology, and Health and Social Care university graduates with relevant work experience.
