Quality Manager

Job Description
This is a hands on Quality Management role to promote and support our 'right first time' manufacturing culture and quality engagement through best in class quality systems & key metrics. Also, leading & managing a Quality Team to high performance.
You will be the key contact on Quality for all stakeholders. Also leading our quality management systems framework & ISO standards implementation.

Key Accountabilities:
* Managing & developing a Quality team.
* Leading on quality in operations under the guidance of the Head of Group Operations.
* Setting quality KPIs, analysis & reporting
* Working with key stakeholders to identify root cause & instigate corrective and preventative actions in line with NCR process.
* Ensuring quality issues are resolved to minimise compromising quality standards.
* Promoting & supporting the 'right first time' culture with best in class quality management systems.
* Managing all quality-related issues within manufacturing (internal, supplier, customer and warranty) ensuring adherence to QMS - ISO (Apply online only).
* Leading & managing quality auditing activities & reporting on quality related KPIs to prevent NCRs.
* Promoting quality awareness throughout business operations
* Promoting the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as six sigma, Poke-Yoke, Jikoda and other applicable tools
* Assisting in management of Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
* Continuous improvement and Kaizen activities
We are looking for:
* A confident & experienced quality professional to drive the highest standards & conformance.
* Experience in managing & inspiring a Quality Team to high performance is essential.
* Setting, analysing & reporting on Quality KPIs, including through Visual Display Boards.
* Relevant qualification in quality.
* Track record of leading quality in a fast-moving, leading edge operation
* Professional & with the credibility to put Quality at the centre of the business
* Systems implementation, audit & review
* Good knowledge of quality & measurement systems & application of quality tools
* Lateral thinker and problem solver
* Enthusiastic team player
* Willingness to try new things, pioneering approaches
