About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity in our highly skilled and experienced Finance department for a Reporting and Information Analyst. This is a 9 month FTC to cover Maternity.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the operation of the reporting and information function within our management accounts team. You'll also be providing reports back to the business and partnering with key members of Senior Leadership team regarding costs, overheads and variances against budgets.

Here's a bit more detail:

* Preparation of period end management accounts & overheads by function
* Preparation and review of period end balance sheet reconciliations
* Support the production of weekly P&L (including raw material, distribution, labour, waste variances etc) & publish to the business
* Audit support for Statutory Accounts & Tax Accounting
* Compilation of budget against forecast

About you:

You're an excellent communicator with the ability to work to tight timescales and a keen eye for financials and error spotting. We're looking for a strong team player with the ability to support others and see projects through to completion. You'll ideally be part qualified in/or studying towards CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.

If you have the following knowledge and experience, we want to talk to you:

* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Experience of reporting and analysis
* High levels of attention to detail
* A positive approach, ability to adapt to and communicate with all levels of the business
* Qual/Part Qual/Studying towards CIMA/ACCA or equivalent

These would be a bonus too:

* Experience within manufacturing/retail accounts
* Knowledge of Dynamics AX
