Senior Continuous Improvement (Black Belt) Manager

We now have an opportunity within our Change & Continuous department for an experienced Senior Continuous Improvement Black Belt Manager. This position can be based from either our Head Office in Bexhill or Leicester site and has come about due to an internal move.

The main function of the role to deliver on the purpose of the C&CI team - "Develop a culture to understand, protect and improve our Customer's experiences" through:

* Delivering agreed significant improvements (benefits) of CI projects using appropriate methodologies (E.g. DMAIC, DDIS) for multi department / sites.
* Organising and managing multi-disciplinary teams during the life cycle of the improvement activity
* Train, coach and mentoring Green Belt CI Managers (both full and part time) on the appropriate CI methodologies to ensure their delivery of successful CI projects
* Leading all "gateway" reviews for your own projects & supporting Green Belts through theirs to ensure engagement and authorisation.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, through all mediums, with experience of successful influence and engagement influence of Senior Leaders and Managers through the lifecycle of CI projects.
* Ability to flex the right Customer centric CI approach for the required improvements
* Strong analytical, facilitation and coaching skills
* Proven success in leadership of self and others
* Effective and structured risk management and mitigation, ensuring delivery of expecting improvements

Desirable

* Experience in deployment of Systems Thinking, Performance Management Systems & departmental and or value stream transformations
* Understanding and experience of developing enterprise process hierarchy

Qualifications

* Accredited Six Sigma and/or Lean Black Belt (essential) - preferably ISO18404
* Degree level, or equivalent, education in business, finance or engineering (desirable)
* Prince 2 and or Agile Project Manager certified (desirable)
