What you'll be doing

My client wants developers who really enjoy developing. Most of their development team take an interest in the latest and greatest tech and actively top-up knowledge through blogs, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

Many develop personal projects in their spare time to master new libraries or try out new techniques. That’s the kind of people you will join: curious, active and aware.

What you will need

* An enthusiasm for app development and web technologies

* Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS

* Commercial experience developing in frontend and backend environments

* Strong JS skills (plus awareness of at least one other language)

* Experience creating/using RESTful APIs

* Understanding of source control systems (e.g. git)

Ideally, you should also have

* Commercial experience maintaining a SaaS environment

* Experience with modern UI frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular)

* Confidence with the cli and linux

* A working knowledge of Typescript

* A working knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel)

* Experience querying relational databases (e.g. MySQL)

* Experience with TDD and creating unit tests

* Understanding of cross-platform development (mobile vs desktop, browser limitations, etc.)

Even better if you have

* AWS knowledge

* A relevant qualification (degree, vocational training, bootcamp, etc)

* Understanding of CI/CD processes

* Contributions to Open Source software

* Understanding of web accessibility guidelines

* Experience in the eLearning industry
