Cardnet Merchant Services is a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and First Data bringing payment solutions to businesses. We are now recruiting for a Client Development Consultant within our Basildon based contact centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performance sales team.

This is an office based telephony role with direct client contact. Client needs will be met from a variety of lead sources.

Client contact
Proactive and reactive telephony and written contact with clients.
Explain and present factual information to clients in a clear and unambiguous way.
Understand and identify client needs and match products and services accordingly.
Introduce solutions which are of mutual benefit to all parties.
Monitor overall progress of sales to ensure that successful implementation occurs, providing feedback to segment managers as appropriate.

Negotiation
Work with the client in order to identify the best option for the client utilising our broad set of product options.

Decision Making
Identify solutions that fulfil client requirements and generate optimum returns for the Business.
Make sound commercial judgements to fully maximise opportunities and develop the client base.
Make decisions that positively impact on the medium and long-term revenue/profit to Cardnet Merchant Services.

Planning
Personal time management of day to day activities.
Lead contact and pipeline management.
Constantly update knowledge on all products and services offered by Cardnet
Merchant Services and strategic partners.

Operational
Maintain internal compliance levels.
Illustrate a high level of self-organisation and time management
Full Implementation and migration management, including the client on boarding programme, paperwork and risk/compliance and due diligence completion.

Job Requirements
High School qualification or equivalent.
Ideally some exposure to relevant acquiring sales or telesales related work
Confident communicator
Ability to develop relationships

Previous telesales or customers services experience
