What does everyone think about Richard Dawkins and AC Grayling's New College of the Humanities? Personally I'm not sure whether it will be a complete failure or if it actually a revolutionary new model for higher education in the UK.

I think it shows how far the new government changes are pushing people though.

I don't think it's going to work. I just don't think the finances will be strong enough. These are world class, celebrity professors. They are eventually going to want to be paid wages that match their standing. 

With a move like this, most of the talented lecturers and professors from other UK institutions might leave to join more elitist schools, this could damage the quality of higher education across the board.
