Business School Fees

Fees

What Fees do I Have to Pay?

The fees you pay for business schools depends hugely on your nationality, where you study and what type of course you choose. You may only have to pay the same amount in fees as UK students, if you have an EU passport (or are eligible to hold one) AND have lived in an EU/EEA country for at least the past 3 years before your course starts. You must hold a passport from one of the following countries:

Austria.........................Germany...........................The Netherlands
Belgium.......................Greece..............................Poland
Bulgaria.......................Hungary............................Portugal
Cyprus.........................Republic of Ireland..........Romania
Czech Republic..........Italy....................................Slovakia
Denmark......................Latvia................................Slovenia
Estonia.........................Lithuania..........................Spain
Finland.........................Luxembourg.....................Sweden
France..........................Malta.................................Switzerland

If you meet both the requirements then you will qualify as an EU student and only have to pay ‘Home’ (students from the UK) student fees.

MBA Fees

EU and non-EU students all pay the same fees on MBA courses in the UK. However, the fees are very high compared to almost all other courses.

Tuition fees for full-time 1-year courses at accredited schools in the UK vary widely, but you should expect to pay at least £15,000, and up to £50,000 for the most prestigious MBA programs. Part time courses start at about £8,000 per year, though the cost goes up each of the three study years.

To find out how much the fees are for the MBA courses at the school you are interested in, check their websites.

The fact that MBA fees are so much is the reason why most students try and get sponsored through their MBA by a company, or else apply for scholarships (see our Business School scholarships page). However, it is important to remember that although the fees are very high, an MBA is an investment in your future career. The average starting salary for a student finishing an MBA is far higher than the national average wherever you decide to work in the world.
