The University of Oxford is one of the oldest and best universities in the world, regularly coming in the top 5 global university rankings tables. Students from all over the world enjoy the excellent teaching, beautiful surroundings and almost unique college system.

A particular benefit of studying at Oxford is the distinctive way that students are taught. You attend lectures and seminars just like most other UK universities, but also go to small weekly teaching groups called tutorials. In these, students discuss the week’s work with the tutor and just one or two other students.

Oxford University is split into 38 colleges that are spread throughout the town and made up of between 300 and 500 students each. Student life revolves around the colleges, as undergraduates live, eat, study and socialise in their own college.
